THE YEAR IS 2024.

THE EARTH IS A BARREN WASTELAND.

It is up to four brave woodland creatures to rebuild the earth... in the form of a moving superfortress?!

But the apocalypse isn't over just yet. A massive dust storm approaches, threatening to wipe out the last remaining life on earth... But with teamwork, chutzpah, and a keen sense for resource allocation, they might just scrape by...

SUPER MOBILE FORTRESS CONSTRUCTORZ is an up-to-four-player co-op endless runner game, where four intrepid woodland creatures must build and maintain a hurtling superfortress for as long as they can!

THE RUNDOWN:

Controls are as follows:

MOVE - Left Analog Stick, Up/Down/Left/Right or W/A/S/D

PICK UP/PUT DOWN - A Button (xbox), X button (playstation), Z or E

USE ITEM - X Button (xbox), SQUARE button (playstation), X or F

You can use this button to build things if you hold an item, or start fishing if next to a Fishing Hole.

CONSUME ITEM - B Button (xbox), CIRCLE button (playstation), C or G

You can use this button to eat PLANTS to keep yourself fed, or use a SAW on a room to damage it. You can also use this button to repair a room with METAL.

GAMEPLAY:

The aim of the game is to acquire resources from the ground as you drive by them, and use them to construct various rooms and upgrades that will help you survive longer. To start you out there is a Fishing Hole, where you can fish for resources.

Then, you can build one of several upgrades:

THE SCOOP, which automatically picks up items it drives over

THE ENGINE, which speeds up the fortress, but needs FUEL refills

THE GUN, which shoots down incoming obstacles if it has ammo

THE HYDROPONICS GARDEN, which grows food so you don't starve to death

& THE MINELAYER, which can push back the dust storm, buying you extra time.

If all players die, you will lose. See how far you can get!

This is not the final version of the game! We are only submitting it now because of the jam deadline. There is more we want to do!
